Biography Helen Klisser During is a Private Art Advisor, Curator and Photographer, working primarily with major artists, art galleries, auction houses, museums and art fairs globally. Klisser During has placed works primarily in important private collections throughout the world, including work by Josef Albers, Alexander Calder, Cézanne, Degas, Donald Judd, Ellsworth Kelly, Sol LeWitt, Roy Lichentstein, Judy Millar, Robert Rauschenberg, Gerhard Richter, Richard Serra, Mark Di Suvero, James Turrell, Van Gogh and Andy Warhol.
As a Curator and Gallery Director, she has presented shows such as James Rosenquist: The Speed of Light and Beyond; Christo and Jeanne-Claude: Two Works in Progress; Rose Chast: Theories of Everything & much, much more!; Culture & DNA: Science Meets Art; Dan Budnik: Seeing David Smith; BUILD: Louis Kahn/Architecture/Sculpture; Perterdi in Context: Picasso to Pollock; Icons of Twentieth Century Photography; Gemini GEL: Celebrating 38 Years of Art and Collaboration; Edward Hopper and John Marin's New York.
Helen Klisser During has also served as an Art Advisor to Art Dubai and New York Armory, juror, panelist, speaker and Gallery Director for Silvermine Galleries where she founded the celebrated Director's Choice series of exhibitions. Her exhibitions, symposia and lectures have garnered numerous reviews from various publications including The New York Times, The Nation, and The Stamford Advocate and Greenwich Times, Next Magazine, NY ARTS magazine and dart International.
